We’re thankful for Benjamin Franklin and his lightning rod discovery back in 1749. Lightning protection systems now guard us from dangerous lightning currents. Get in touch with Lightning Protection Systems Inc to learn more. We return your calls or emails by the next business day.

Conductive Metal Rods

Conductive metal rods are mounted on top of homes, businesses, factories, and other structures. These rods are strike receptors for lightning discharge. Most are unobtrusive thin poles. They can also be designed as decorative elements.

Conductor Cables

Copper or aluminum conductors run along the roof and down the building to route lightning strikes away from the structure and channel the electrical current to the ground. This protects structures from damage due to lightning strikes.

Grounding Rods

The cables are connected to long thick ground rods, which are buried around a protective area. As the current moves through the cable to the rods, the current is safely discharged, and the individuals and structure remain safe.
